Philosophy & Mission Statement:
The goal of NCLC, as a JudyCenter partner, is to
strengthen and empower families to lead productive,
self-sufficient lives and to raise healthy, well rounded
children who enter school with the readiness skills
needed to succeed in school.
To meet these goals, we organize our center in the following ways: GED Teaching to provide a healthy, secure and
nurturing environment where the children are valued and
develop trust, the foundation of all learning.
Tweenie Teaching to build on newly discovered independence through
a variety of fine and gross motor activities. Through
interactions with peers and role modeling from adults,
we support the children’s social, emotional, and
language development.
Toddler Teaching to support children learning about their world
through exploratory play with learning centers
supporting the seven domains of learning. We encourage
expanding self help and language skills needed to
promote independence.
Pre-K Teaching to encourage and support the growth of the whole
child using a holistic approach. Through scientific and
mathematical exploration, problem solving and structured
play, with a print rich environment, children can reach
their fullest potential academically, socially and
emotionally and enter school with the readiness skills
to have a successful and positive school experience.
We provides learning opportunities in the natural environment for families
and children. We build relationships and set goals to
enhance and support the growth of the family.
