Contract Info -

Please take your time reading these rules. If you have questions or concerns regarding the daycare, please call me at once.

1. Trial Period - I will have an one-week trial period for your child(ren). Occasionally a child may not fit into the daycare environment. If after we discuss the problem and a solution cannot be found a (1) one-week notice of termination will be given so you may find alternative care for your child(ren)

2. Termination of Care - If at any time you wish to remove your child(ren) from my care, a (2) two-week written notice must be given. If a written notice is not provided you will be responsible for payment. I also reserve the right to terminate due to non-payment, continued late payments or any other irreconcilable differences. You will also be given a (2) two-week notice if the circumstance warrants one.

3. Discipline - If at any time disciplinary action must be taken with your child(ren) he or she will be made to site in a "Time Out" chair until they can resume play. There will be no physical discipline used in my home. If your child(ren) display continued disciplinary problems on a daily basis, I will discuss the situation with you and try to find a suitable solution. If a solution cannot be reached and unacceptable behavior continues care may be terminated under the conditions set in number (2) two. Note: I will not tolerate the use of profanity in my home by children or parents.

4. Health - Maryland laws prohibits me from caring for sick children in my home. If your child(ren) becomes sick during the night hours please phone me in the morning ASAP. 5. If the Provider is ill - If the provider or member of the providers family is ill, the parent(s) will be notified immediately that care for the child(ren) will not be available due to illness so that the parent(s) can find alternative care for the child(ren). The Provider is allowed (6) six paid sick days per year. Any sick days after the sixth will not be charged to you unless vacation days are used.

6. Back up Day Care - Parents are responsible for finding backup daycare. The provided will attempt to arrange for a substitute when possible, but if unable will provide the parents with referrals for substitute care.
